Okay
guys, back to basics after the exciting days at Dublin Fashion
Festival
Shopping
for a business suit is never easy, right guys.
Well,
here some tips when buying a men's suit.
Again,
it is important to know your size and if you are a short, regular or
long.
( I posted a size chart, label 'Tools' on Sunday 02.09.12 )
The
Short, Regular, and Long refers to the sleeve and trunk length of the
jacket and the length of the trousers.
The
number in the sizing of the jacket is referring to chest size and as for the trousers it is referring to the waist size and inner leg
measurements.
NOTE, some
stores allow to mix jackets and trousers in different sizes and lengths.
The sleeves should be approx a finger width above the thumb knuckle.
When it comes to the length of the trousers, always consider the shoes you would wear with the suit.

| correct length ;-) |
And in case you want to let out a bit in your suit trouser. Check if the waist has enough fabric to make it wider.
Thanks,
Carsten
